Ashby History Comes to Life

Ashby 2010

A Film for the Future about Life Today

The Museum is working on a project to produce a film depicting some aspects of life and community in Ashby in the year 2010.  The hope is that this will be of interest and value to people in generations to come as well as being of interest to visitors and residents today.

On this page you can see:

The Venture Theatre's Production of Rebecca

This is not the whole play; rather it is the story of how the play is staged right from the audition stage to the final production with some short excerpts from the final performance.

The Coming of Autumn

This film is mainly about the annual Statutes Fair in Ashby. For many people the coming of the fair marks the turning of the seasons, hence the title of this film and the additional autumnal scenes. The film of the fair itself was shot mainly this year but also contains some shots filmed in 2003.
