Ashby museum invites you to come and see its pictorial timeline of A2 children’s posters, recording colourful local scenes from the Iron Age through to the present day. Society is diverse; it has been in the past as much as in the present day. Where possible these cartoons aim to reflect that diversity by their incidental inclusion of children and adults with learning difficulties. There are even a few characters using British Sign Language. |

New in this galleryAll our cartoon pictures are accompanied by a sound recording. The recordings are designed to sound as if one of the children in the picture is speaking to the visitor. Personal audio devices are available to enable visitors to listen to these recordings. There is a series of other recordings which can be heard using these devices in the main Zouche and Hastings Gallery.
